Maquette Creation (The Foundation)

I repurposed old paper and clay for my layered base maquette (model), embracing sustainability. I chose these materials to mirror the concept of transforming discarded resources into art. The paper represents layers of accumulated waste, while the clay symbolizes the soil, grounding the composition in earthy textures. This maquette not only serves as a structural model but also captures the environmental narrative central to my work. Through this foundational layer, I begin to explore the intricate balance between waste and resilience in sculptural form.
